SPARK Story Builder
Turn your idea into a story that's ready to write
Welcome to your Story Session โจ
In the next hour you'll go from "I have an idea" to a clear, structured story you're excited to write. Your answers save automatically so you can come back anytime.
Start with the Seed
Get the idea out of your head and onto the page. Don't overthink โ just write what you've been carrying around.
"Most people stay stuck because their idea lives in their head. We're getting it onto the page."
"Make that simpler. What's the clearest version of that?"
Pick the Heart
Most people get stuck trying to say everything. Your job here is to protect ONE message.
"If your story tries to say too many things, it says nothing."
"That's too broad โ what's the real heart? If you could only keep ONE message, what stays?"
Anchor the Character
Kids don't connect to ideas โ they connect to characters. Make your story human and relatable.
"Kids connect to characters, not concepts. Keep it simple โ this is not a novel."
"What do they really want? What's the struggle in one sentence?"
Reveal the Shift
This is the magic most beginners skip. A story is a change โ no change means no story.
"A story is a change. No change = no story."
"Say it as a before โ after. If you can't say it simply, the shift isn't clear yet."
Kickstart the Structure
Plug everything into a simple outline. You're not guessing anymore โ you're building.
"Now we plug this into a simple structure so you're not guessing. This becomes your full 24-page structure in the workshop."
"Does your ending actually show the shift you defined in R? If yes โ you have a story."
